Pressure gauges with a membrane box. Pressure gauges with a diaphragm box are designed to measure excess and vacuum pressure in the range from 0...2.5 to 0 ...600 mbar of gaseous media. Membrane boxes consist of corrugated membranes hermetically connected to each other along the edge. The pressure applied to the center of one of the membranes acts on the inner wall of the membrane box. Under the influence of the measured pressure, the center of the diaphragm box moves and, with the help of a tribo-sector mechanism, proportionally moves the arrow of the pressure gauge.

They are chemically resistant to acids and alkalis of moderate concentrations, gases such as ammonia, freon, natural gas and neon gas. However, benzene, solvent, acetone can damage the hydrocarbon compounds of plastic.
